As an industrial user of energy, our usage has a much larger carbon footprint than an individual's. As such, we have implemented efficiency measures to reduce our usage:

• HVAC in our facility has been updated with new control system to maximize efficiency.
• Coating facilities now leverage all cooling needs off of a cooling tower and use waste heat for space heating (extremely efficient in our local climate).
• Replaced all lighting fixtures to latest efficiency standards.

Since we can't reduce our energy needs to zero, we purchase renewable energy credits for 100% of our annual electricity use. By purchasing Green Energy certified renewable energy credits, we are committed to:

• Helping reduce our dependency on fossil fuels
• Promoting cleaner air
• Fighting global climate change

In addition to energy demand reduction and use of renewable energy credits, Advanced Thin Films promotes sustainability with the following programs:

• We partner with Eco Cycle's Zero Waste program (recycling and composting).
• We provide Eco Passes (RTD bus passes) to all of our employees.
• Premium garage parking is available for employees who carpool, use high mileage vehicles, motorcycles or hybrids.
• We encourage biking to work by offering bike parking, showers and locker rooms.
